The
current
study
examined
university
students’
insights
into
generative
AI
writing
tools
regarding
their
familiarity
with,
perceived
concerns
about,
and
benefits
of
these
in
academic
work.
used
a
cross-sectional
descriptive
research
design,
data
were
collected
using
questionnaire
instrument.

Artificial
intelligence
(AI)
has
become
a
key
factor
in
higher
education,
revolutionizing
both
teaching
methods
and
student
learning.
This
study
aimed
to
identify
the
perceptions
of
university
students
professors
on
use
AI
academic
education.
A
descriptive

quantitative
approach

deductive

Background:
Generative
artificial
intelligence
(Gen-AI)
has
emerged
as
a
transformative
tool
in
research
and
education.
However,
there
is
mixed
perception
about
its
use.
This
study
assessed
the
use,
perception,
prospect,
challenges
of
Gen-AI
use
higher
