: Cytokine storm is usually described as one of the main reasons behind COVID-associated mor-tality. Cytokines are essential protein molecules engaged in immune responses; they play a critical role protection against infections. However, also contribute to inflammatory reactions and tissue damage, becoming double-edged sword context COVID-19. Recent studies have suggested various cytokines chemokines that crucial response SARS-CoV-2 infection. One such cytokine Interleukin 27 (IL-27), which has been found be elevated blood plasma patients with Within this study, we will explore IL-27 responses address our own findings concerning It affects wide variety cells; regardless pathological process it involved in, for upholding necessary balance between damage cytotoxicity in-fectious agents and/or tumors. In COVID-19, multiple processes, including antiviral via CD8+ cells, IgG subclass switching, even activation Tregs.

Introduction: Bell’s palsy is a common acute peripheral neurological disorder causing unilateral facial paralysis. Its exact etiology remains unknown, but it linked to inflammation, immune responses, infections, and ischemia. This study explores the potential causal relationship between blood inflammatory proteins, metabolites, cell characteristics. Methods: Genetic data for were obtained from Finnish database (version R10) IEU OpenGWAS. A two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) approach was applied, analyzing 4907 plasma 731 traits, 91 1400 metabolites. The dataset served as discovery cohort, while OpenGWAS acted validation cohort. Bioinformatics analyses included protein–protein interaction (PPI) networks, Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis, colocalization, Linkage Disequilibrium Score Regression (LDSC) identify candidate proteins explore therapeutic targets. Results: MR analysis identified 70 77 26 traits potentially causally associated with palsy. After external validation, BLVRB, HMOX2, TNFRSF12A, DEFB128, ITM2A, VEGF-A, DDX58 remained significantly (p < 0.05). PPI network led 31 six core (JAK2, IL27RA, OSM, CCL19, SELL, VCAM-1) identified. Conclusions: Our identifies relationships cells, palsy, highlighting that JAK/STAT signaling may be critical target intervention in its modulation provide new directions opportunities strategies drug disease.
