In many parts of the Asia, particularly in arid regions middle east date palm i.e. Phoneix dactylifera L. is considered a significant plant both culturally and economically. Over past decade numerous biotechnological tools have been applied to revolutionize research its cultivation process. this comprehensive review ,we provided depth overview cutting edge developments biotechnology, mentioning important areas such as genomics, genetic engineering, vitro propagation, omics technologies, integration artificial intelligence machine learning (AI-ML).Due these advancements ,in production how lead superior cultivars with improved yield ,fruit quality resilience biotic abiotic stresses. Also it explores application biotech enhancing pest disease management strategies, increasing productivity developing based bio-factories for high value compounds. This highlights current challenges faced by industries ,including limited water resources ,genetic erosion , pests need postharvest handling processing. It examines coupled AI-based approaches can be leveraged address ensure long term sustainability cultivation.
