Thermal energy storage (TES) is an innovative technology that can help mitigate environmental problems and make consumption in air conditioning systems more efficient. TES also helps to decouple the production use of cooling. In this work, a mathematical model was used obtain thermal loads environment based on Brazilian standards simulate operation system integrated with TES. A refrigeration capable providing cooling capacity for selected used. It simulated evaluate coefficient performance cycle system, including TES, city Teresina, northeast region Brazil. On each day, efficiency air-cooled chiller coupled paraffin phase change material verified. Based data obtained from model, reduction achieved by coupling varied between 10.6% 1.3%.
