This
study
describes
how
transformational
leadership
is
the
key
to
success
in
leading
madrasah
towards
realizing
competitive
future,
supported
by
high
innovation
and
quality.
research
was
a
case
with
qualitative
approach.
focused
on
pesantren-based
developing
international
at
MA
Nurul
Jadid
Probolinggo.
The
result
shows
that
1)
idealism
of
head
able
increase
commitment
stakeholders,
integration
international-national
curriculums
digital-based
infrastructure;
2)
inspirational
motivation
provide
encouragement
subordinates
hone
potential
teachers,
students,
education
staff
through
innovative
training
so
they
are
achieve
various
awards;
3)
intellectual
stimulus
form
head’s
role
as
an
agent
social
change
problem-solving
leader;
4)
Individual
awareness
development
reflected
ability
meet
human
resource
needs
according
global
competency
demands.

research

Systematic
Literature
Review
method.
Articles
were
obtained
from
national
international
journals.
Researchers
chose
15
articles
hundreds
of
relevant
last
5
years.
Then,
researchers
analyzed
tabulated
tabular
data
with
name
researcher,
year
publication,
publisher,
results.
indicated
that
teacher
strongly
supported
by
efforts
to
increase
level,
training,
upgrading
programs.
In
addition,
quality
needed
be
improved
through
cluster
activity
centers,
working
groups,
Republic
Indonesia
Teachers’
Association.
It
was
also
necessary
a
work
ethic
based
on
service.
conclusion
implications
improving
human
resource
competencies
are
developing
students’
abilities.
Ultimately,
teachers
will
always
active
require
self-regulation
overcome
industrial
revolution
toward
golden

well
has
democratic

teachers
decision-making.
