This study explored the effects of air cavity on dose distribution radiotherapy in patients after extensive hysterectomy. In who have an intestines near planning target volume (PTV), photon beams may interact with to cause electron disequilibrium (ED), resulting a reduction absorbed by surrounding tissues. this paper, density assignment (EDA) was used simulate disappearance intestinal gas, and modulated arc therapy (VMAT) results were examined.A total 21 underwent VMAT hysterectomy enrolled retrospective analysis. The parameters from selected treatment plan experimental reference. reference group copied, structure identified using computed tomography (CT) simulation image. value intestine measured averaged according recommended International Commission Radiological Units (ICRU) report No. 46. assigned structure. Subsequently, re-calculated without changing other parameters, defined as group. PTV organs at risk (OAR) 2 groups assessed, influence cervical cancer analyzed.The minimum (D98) maximum (D2) significantly different between control (P<0.05), however, mean comparable groups.
