Abstract
In
order
for
a
field
to
prosper
and
thrive,
common
language
is
essential.
As
often
the
case
when
many
disciplines
numerous
organizations
converge
in
development
of
field,
dissemination
implementation
research
still
characterized
by
inconsistent
terminology.
While
“state
art”
might
not
be
advanced
enough
resolve
all
existing
inconsistencies
terminology,
this
chapter
represents
tremendous
amount
that
happened
over
past
5
years

platforms

more
consistent,
agreed-on
across
topic
areas,
stakeholder
groups,
geographical
areas.

Abstract
This
chapter
demonstrates
not
only
the
relevance,
but
also
necessity
of
applying
an
equity
lens
to
dissemination
and
implementation
(D&I)
science
advance
health
equity.
There
are
several
challenges
promoting
in
D&I
research,
including
possible
inadvertent
exacerbation
healthcare
disparities;
lack
acknowledgment
contexts
other
underlying
structural
factors,
such
as
racism;
limited
use
a
multilevel,
multisector,
and/or
multisystems
approach
for
evidence-based
interventions
(EBIs);
inadequate
equity-relevant
metrics

effectiveness,
studies.

emerging
(e.g.,

Abstract
There
are
many
opportunities
to
disseminate
and
implement
evidence-based
programs
policies
(EBPPs)
through
public
health
community
settings
support
work
toward
equity
justice.
This
chapter
highlights
the
breadth
of
these
opportunities.
Making
most

require

prioritization
investment
time

on

institutions,
agencies,

Abstract
Background
Recent
calls
to
action

Abstract
Background:
A
growing
number
of
studies
have
used
implementation
science
(IS)
frameworks,
such
as
RE-AIM,
to
inform
and
evaluate
the
evidence-based
cancer
prevention
services
(e.g.,
screening);
however,
impact
applications
is
not
well
understood,
including
whether
use
an
IS
framework
can
lead
reductions
in
health
disparities.
The
purpose
this
systematic
review
explore
how
frameworks
guide
adaptations
specifically
address
Methods:
This
was
conducted
accordance
with
Preferred
Reporting
Items
for
Systematic
Reviews
Meta-Analyses
(PRISMA)
guidelines
registered
PROSPERO.
Searches
were
Ovid
MEDLINE,
PubMed,
PsycINFO,
CINAHL,
EMBASE.

included,
overwhelming
majority
(n=19,
70.3%)
based

States,

mixed-methods
(n=12,
44.4%),
focused
only
on
single
site
(n=21,
81.5%),
took
place

66.7%).

(n=13,
48.2%)
post-implementation
evaluation.
