Abstract Vaccine hesitancy has emerged as a significant global challenge impacting healthcare institutions, workplaces and governments alike. Despite concerted efforts by the government numerous other institutions in South Africa, low vaccination rates persist (33% of November 13, 2023), reflecting persistence this challenge. This is particularly pronounced educational such higher learning where many people converge, increasing risk viral exposure. study aims to assess knowledge, attitudes, perceptions workers (HCWs) at Nursing College regarding voluntary mandatory COVID-19 vaccination. Employing quantitative approach, survey with closed-ended Likert-type questions was administered 504 individuals College. The sample size 218 respondents calculated based on margin error 5%, confidence level 95%, an additional 25% contingency for potential incomplete data, resulting final representative 270 respondents. Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS) used analysis. Findings indicate high uptake vaccinations among HCWs, some being mandated.
