This paper presents an IoT-based solution for detecting grouting voids in tunnel construction using the Raspberry Pi microcomputer. Voids between primary and secondary linings can compromise structural integrity, traditional methods like GPR lack continuous feedback. The proposed system uses embedded electrical wires lining to measure conductivity, with disruptions indicating unfilled voids. monitors this real time, uploading data a cloud platform engineer access via smartphone. Field tests were conducted full-scale, 600 m long evaluate system’s effectiveness. demonstrated accuracy various geometries, including straight sections, curves, intersections. The integration of the Internet Things (IoT) with artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming home appliances into smarter, more responsive tools that enhance daily living. However, this technological fusion introduces significant security challenges, necessitating a careful balance between and performance within IoT networks. Understanding the implementation of Internet Things (IoT) in sustainable construction projects. Implementing IoT schemes can offer many benefits, including resource management, remote control and monitoring, improving safety, optimizing building performance data-driven decision-making. This research presents a unique effort to enhance our comprehension such We analyzed 55 studies using systematic approach literature selection filtration, theoretical models for study sustainability industries. The results revealed that monitoring constituted 9 (16.4%), machine/equipment 2 (3.6%), safety 5 (9.1%), water management 4 (7.3%), 4IR BIM green prefabricated design adoption level 6 (10.9%), other aspects accounted 15 (27.3%). primary areas application industry include BIM, repair equipment services, implements, tracking equipment. Notably, there is lack awareness regarding potential integration by companies. Despite numerous on adoption, limited addresses challenges how tools impact industry.
