Early
sexual
initiation

it
is

with

Abstract
Background:

Adolescent
sexual
and
reproductive
health
(ASRH)
is
fundamental
to
the
overall
wellbeing
development
of
young
people.
In
Southern
Ethiopia,
adolescents
face
significant
barriers
accessing
utilizing
ASRH
services:
they
include
limited
information,
pervasive
cultural
stigma,
inadequate
healthcare
infrastructure.
Addressing
these
critical
reducing
unintended
pregnancies,
preventing
sexually
transmitted
infections,
achieving
national
international
objectives.
Despite
existence
policies
aimed
at
improving
ASRH,
challenges
persist,
highlighting
urgent
need
for
targeted
policy
reforms
effective
implementation
strategies
ensure
a
healthier
future
in
region.

Introduction:
Women's
reproductive
health
knowledge
is
crucial
for
their
well-being,
particularly
in
LMICs
like
Pakistan,
where
cultural
barriers
often
prevent
open

explores

awareness
among
Pakistani
women,
focusing
on
menstruation,
contraception,
STD
prevention,
pregnancy,
and
menopause.

were

from
125
women
aged
15–49,
covering
demographics,
menstrual
knowledge,
awareness,
AIDS
menopause,
general
knowledge.
Results:
Participants,
17–46,
mostly
married,
urban,
educated,
middle-income
backgrounds.
Only
45.6%
knew
about
menarche
before
it
occurred,
54%
received
counseling
at
its
onset.
Medical
help
was
preferred
fertility
issues,
but
traditional
methods
used
pregnancy
termination.
While
65.6%
aware
of
STDs,
higher
urban
areas.

menopause-related
risks.
Contraceptive
use
low,
with
educated
showing
better
timing

59%
AIDS,

as
a
