The primary objective of this systematic review study was to investigate the effectiveness, durability, and adverse events PLLA treatment for aesthetic indications. search strategy performed in MEDLINE (Ovid). electronic literature five databases performed, from inception until 12th February 2024. This identify randomized clinical trials that assessed adult individuals exhibiting facial aging and/or lipoatrophy. Risk bias using Cochrane Risk-of-Bias Tool Randomized Trials (RoB 2). Eleven RCTs out 1467 identified citations were included. Four studies showed increased dermal thickness, significant improvement lipoatrophy severity scores, after with its effects sustained at least 25 months. Two demonstrated superiority over injectable human collagen. Also, three positive results favoring when compared PH gel severity, transepidermal water loss, skin quality, elasticity, patient satisfaction. All mild-to-moderate intensity, main ones worth noting bruising, hematoma, tenderness, nodules, edema. Five eleven considered having high risk bias. evidence on effectiveness safety rejuvenation is low quality; thus, reported safety, long-lasting purpose should be further investigated.

A filler composed of calcium hydroxylapatite and carboxymethylcellulose gel (CaHA/CMC) has been shown to possess biostimulatory skin-tightening properties that have applied not just the face but also body boost rejuvenation. Recently, evidence recommendations for CaHA/CMC treatment provided, they are still lacking in terms treatment. This article aims perform a systematic review literature on applications provide from literature. Currently, only FDA-approved indication is treating hands recent European Union Medical Device Regulation approval released decolletage The application hyperdilutions neck, feet, arms, thighs, abdomen, other parts proven effect. However, despite their wide use with good safety profile clinical practice, trends guidelines diluted hyperdiluted yet be supported by randomized controlled trials.

Objective Injectable skin fillers offer a wider range of options for cutaneous anti-aging and facial rejuvenation. PLLA microspheres are increasingly favored as degradable long-lasting fillers. The present study focused solely on the effect dermal collagen, without investigating its impact epidermis. In this study, we investigated effects epidermal stem cells (EpiSCs). Methods Different concentrations (EpiSCs) in vitro through culture, identification primary rat EpiSCs. CCK-8 detection, apoptosis staining, flow cytometry, Transwell assay, wound healing q-PCR analysis, immunofluorescence staining were used to detect Furthermore, observed epidermis by injecting into dermis vivo . Results promote cell proliferation migration while delaying senescence maintaining stemness. vitro, Intradermal injection back resulted delayed aging, evidenced histological immunohistochemical at 2, 4, 12 weeks follow-up. Conclusion This showed positive EpiSCs, providing novel insights mechanism PLLA.

Injection cosmetic procedures have shown rapid continuing growth in the last 2 decades. Various substances are injected into periorbital region for skin quality increase and correction of tear trough deformity, including hyaluronic acid, peptides, collagen, others. Sometimes patients get accidentally with different that not approved treatment this anatomic area. The author presents a case 51-year-old woman, unknown oil solution lower eyelid by local dermatologist. Inflammation induration occurred after these injections. patient was treated conservatively until acute process stopped, then surgical performed to correct orbicularis oculi muscle changes. Surgical included direct cyst excision removal injection changed tissues between muscle. observed scheduled appointments conservative prevent unfavorable scar formation deformity. Although kinds injections purposes, accidental occur may lead terrible results. Methods deformity presented literature. In article, report method soft eyelids occurring cases like rare, they require provide good aesthetic result treatment.

Skin aging is the phenomenon of degenerative changes in structure and function skin tissues over time manifested by a gradual loss elasticity firmness, an increased number wrinkles, hyperpigmentation. anti-aging refers to reduction through medical cosmetic technologies. In recent years, new biomaterials have been continuously developed for improving appearance mechanical tissue filling, regulating collagen synthesis degradation, inhibiting pigmentation, repairing barrier. This review summarizes mechanisms associated with aging, describes that are commonly used aesthetics their possible modes action, discusses application strategies this area. Moreover, synergistic effects such other active ingredients, as stem cells, exosomes, growth factors, antioxidants, on regeneration evaluated. Finally, challenges development prospects field discussed, novel ideas future innovations area summarized.

ABSTRACT Background Acne is a common condition observed in adolescents and most severe acne the scars develop. There are numerous treatment options for scars. However, no standardized guidelines have been established to guide physicians optimal of Aims The objective this systematic review evaluate existing evidence on various fillers used compare their effectiveness with one another. Methods study was designed following PRISMA guidelines, information retrieved May 2024 using PubMed database ClinicalTrials.gov registry. inclusion criteria were that studies involving patients any age or gender type treated synthetic dermal fillers, published English. exclusion less than 10 participants did not use fillers. To assess risk bias included studies, Cochrane Collaboration's Risk Bias tool randomized controlled trials, observational Newcastle–Ottawa Scale used. Results Twenty‐six total 1121 participants. Fourteen evaluated HA 372 subjects, five focused PMMA 305 four CaHA 392 two PLLA 42 PCL subjects. Conclusions Most low quality, as indicated by scores quality assessments, lack high‐quality RCTs, small sample sizes. Future research should focus conducting randomized, controlled, split‐face an adequate number detailed examination different scar subtypes.

Skin aging is a complex and multifactorial process influenced by both intrinsic extrinsic factors. The periorbital area of the face particularly susceptible to premature signs due its delicate skin structure, major concern for many individuals. While hyaluronic acid (HA)-based dermal filler products are commonly used rejuvenation, novel approaches effectively locally address visible available. This study aimed investigate Innovyal Regenerative Action (IRA), an injectable polynucleotide-HA (PN-HA) regenerative designed periocular prejuvenation. Firstly, PN-HA was compared other commercially available HA-based dermbooster (Profhilo®, Suisselle Cellbooster® Glow, NCTF® 135 HA) in terms rheological properties, vitro antioxidant capacity, total collagen production stimulation human fibroblasts. Secondly, clinical effects IRA were evaluated two case reports (monotherapy prejuvenation). It shown that outperformed comparators relative behavior (biophysical attributes normalized polymer contents), activity (CUPRAC, FRAP, ORAC assays), as well level induction (72-h fibroblast model). Generally, results this provided mechanistic preliminary insights into potential benefits cutaneous treatment. Overall, it underscored combining structural support properties PN with hydrating volumizing HA bares tangible quality enhancement prejuvenation particular.
