Invasive tracheal mucormycosis is a rare but fatal opportunistic infection, particularly common in immunocompromised patients. This case report describes 23-year-old female diabetic patient who developed invasive following tracheostomy. The infection was brought under control after antifungal therapy and surgical debridement; however, due to multiple contributing factors, the subsequently myiasis. highlights importance of early diagnosis, aggressive treatment, proper tracheostomy management preventing severe complications.
