Abstract
Pyroptosis,
a
form
of
programmed
cell
death
characterized
by
lysis
and
inflammation,
has
significant
implications
for
disease
treatment.
Nanomaterials
(NMs),
with
their
unique
physicochemical
properties,
can
precisely
modulate
pyroptosis,
offering
novel
intelligent
therapeutic
strategies
cancer,
infectious
diseases,
chronic
inflammatory
conditions
targeted
activation
reduced
systemic
toxicity.
This
review
explores
the
mechanisms
which
NMs
regulate
comparing
molecular
NM
inducers,
examines
role
intrinsic
properties
such
as
size,
shape,
surface
charge,
chemical
composition
in
these
processes.
