Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a complex neurodegenerative disorder and the major cause of dementia. Amyloid-β (Aβ) tau aggregation, mitochondrial dysfunction, microglial dysregulation are key contributors to AD pathogenesis. Impairments in blood-brain barrier have unveiled contribution immune system, particularly B cells, pathology. crucial component adaptive immunity, exhibit diverse functions, including antigen presentation antibody production. While their role neuroinflammatory disorders has been well-documented, specific function lacks adequate data. This review examines dual cells humoral immunity modulating brain inflammation explores recent advancements passive active immunotherapeutic strategies targeting pathobiology. We summarize preclinical clinical studies investigating cell frequency, altered levels, implications neuroinflammation immunotherapy. Notably, demonstrate protective pathological roles AD, influencing neurodegeneration through antibody-mediated clearance toxic aggregates inflammatory activation inflammation.
