Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has posed unprecedented challenges to global public health, highlighting the importance of prognostic biomarkers in critically ill patients. The oxidative stress developed COVID-19 is associated with impairment various human organs and systems, it related erythrocyte injury, leading an elevation red cell distribution width (RDW) systemic inflammation. This study aims assess value erythrogram indicators C-reactive protein (CRP) levels 91 intensive care unit-admitted patients, categorized into survivor patients (discharge group) non-survivor (death group). results were presented using descriptive statistics Mann–Whitney test. most severe cases respiratory failure which did not survive showed higher lower values blood count, hemoglobin, hematocrit. RDW may be important indicator mortality, as demonstrated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Furthermore, this increase correlated elevated CRP levels, another clinical outcome for these In conclusion, at admission reliable predictors unfavorable outcomes, emphasizing utility assessments
