Social networks share medical content with no peer-review or fact-checking. In the present study we aimed to assess quality, reliability, and level of misinformation in TikTok videos about polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). We performed a cross-sectional analysis retrieved using "PCOS" as search term analyzed patient education materials assessment tool for audio-visual (PEMAT A/V), modified DISCERN (mDISCERN), global quality scale (GQS), video information index (VIQI) were employed. A total 180 included. Most partially accurate (containing 25%-50% false information) uninformative (more than 50%) (56.7% 6.6%, respectively) significantly higher proportion inaccurate from PCOS-patients healthcare professionals (14.4% vs. 0%; P < 0.001) well (78.4% 37.5%; 0.001). PEMAT A/V scores understandability actionability 50% (interquartile range [IQR]: 33%-58%) 25% (IQR: 25%-50%), respectively (54% [IQR: 42%-71%] 33% 25%-50%], Median mDISCERN was 2 1-3) (low degree reliability), by scoring those patients (2 2-3] 1 0-2]; = Intermediate-low overall reported VIQI median score 12 10-15) lower (9 5-12] 13 12-17]; Similarly, GQS intermediate usefulness (median 3 2-4]), but patient-created 4 3-4]; PCOS-related on mostly misinformative low reliability. Healthcare professionals' more informative had compared content. Identifying addressing low-quality is crucial guiding future public health initiatives improving dissemination trustworthy social networks.

The COVID-19 pandemic shift to online learning has raised concerns regarding students’ mental health and academic performance, particularly for students with intellectual disabilities. Objective: This paper examines the effects of on stress, anxiety, social isolation those factors Grade Point Average (GPA), participation in engagement, disabilities (IDs). Methods: current study employed a quasi-experimental research design targeted 500 participants, comprising both undergraduate postgraduate students. Of these, 50 participants were identified as having (IDs) through self-reporting institutional records. remaining 450 typically developing selected stratified random sampling ensure proportional representation across levels disciplines. Digital pathology has emerged as a revolutionary field, transforming traditional diagnostic practices by integrating advanced imaging technologies, computational tools, and artificial intelligence (AI). Adopting digital slides over conventional glass enables high-resolution imaging, facilitating remote consultations, second opinions, telepathology. The digitalization of laboratories enhances workflow efficiency allows for large-scale data storage, retrieval, analysis, paving the way developing robust algorithms. One most transformative aspects is its synergy with AI machine learning (ML). These technologies have enabled automation repetitive processes, including diseased feature detection, biomarker quantification, tissue segmentation. This decreased inter-observer variability increased accuracy. AI-driven algorithms are particularly beneficial in complex cases, assisting pathologists detecting subtle patterns that might be missed through manual examination. Furthermore, plays critical role personalized medicine enabling precise characterization tumors, which leads to targeted therapy decisions. Integrating genomics other omics holds promise more holistic understanding diseases, driving innovation diagnostics treatment. However, transition challenging. Issues such standardization, regulatory compliance, need IT infrastructure must addressed realize full potential. review provides detailed examination these advances, their clinical applications, challenges faced widespread adoption pathology.
