Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies are crucial for small medium enterprises (SMEs) to improve business operations in an easy, cost-efficient, effective form. As a result, we explore the convenience dimensions that impact AI ML adoption intention among SMEs Uganda, developing country. 248 respondents were involved. The results show transaction, access, possession/post-possession, search SMEs’ adopt ML. However, evaluation had no significant influence. Additionally, intentions adoption. Thus, our study contributes ML, convenience, SME literature, practical applications owners managers of countries.

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies are taking the lead among technological advancements around world, societies increasingly becoming interwoven with Generative AI (GAI) in all aspects, including higher education (HE). This study’s main aim is to examine how individual-level cultural dimensions influence students’ adoption of GAI learning, drawing on an extended Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT) model. It explores impact (individualism/collectivism and uncertainty avoidance), IDT innovation factors (relative advantage, complexity, compatibility, observability, trialability), individual (self-efficacy, perceived risk) Saudi perceptions across several universities. Quantitative data were collected from 306 online survey analyzed using CB-SEM. Results highlight instrumental role dimensions, individualism/collectivism avoidance negatively affecting adoption. While complexity showed no significant impact, other variables positively influenced Furthermore, self-efficacy risk found be indicators use. The study emphasizes differences that shape technology collectivist moving toward individualism such as Saudi. identifies limitations, provides useful insights, suggests recommendations for future research uptake culturally diverse HE contexts.

This study examines educators’ perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational settings, focusing on their familiarity with AI tools, integration into teaching practices, professional development needs, the influence institutional policies, and impacts mental health. Previous studies suggest that career plateaus have detrimental effects on employees’ satisfaction and performance. Psychological distress generated by hinders organizations from achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) of ‘health well-being at work’ (SDG-3) ‘decent (SDG-8). How to mitigate negative impact becomes key enhancing sustainable work. However, influencing mechanisms not been fully discussed, especially regarding psychological processes. Drawing equity theory conservation resource theory, this study examines influence mechanism employee job performance via organizational justice, with positive capital moderating process. Mplus Process macro for SPSS are adopted conduct confirmatory factor analysis regression analyses. The current study examines the psychological factors shaping AI adoption, focusing on anxiety, motivation, and dependency. It identifies two dimensions of anxiety: anticipatory driven by fears future disruptions, annihilation reflecting existential concerns about human identity autonomy. We demonstrate a U-shaped relationship between anxiety usage, where moderate engagement reduces high or low levels increase it. Perceived utility, interest, attainment significantly correlate with engagement, while frequent usage is linked to dependency but not anxiety. These findings highlight dual role in hindering alleviating usage. This enriches understanding emotional motivational drivers adoption highlights importance balanced implementation strategies foster sustainable effective integration mitigating risks over-reliance.

Abstract As artificial intelligence (AI) technologies continue to reshape modern workplaces, concerns have emerged about their potential negative impact on employees’ performance and well-being, referred as “AI anxiety.” Drawing social cognitive theory, this study examines how environmental factors—in particular, norms management commitment—shape responses AI anxiety influence creativity at work. By exploring different coping triggered by anxieties, research highlights the complex interplay between individuals’ perceptions, organizational context, creative outcomes. The findings expand current understanding of illustrating supportive factors can encourage more adaptive responses, ultimately enhancing potential. These insights not only contribute academic literature but also provide practical guidance for organizations aiming build resilient innovative workforces capable thriving in an era rapid technological advancement.
