This study aims to identify distinct subtypes of Fear Progression (FOP) in patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea-Hypopnea Syndrome (OSAHS) using latent profile analysis and investigate associated demographic factors facilitate personalized treatment by healthcare professionals, thereby improving clinical symptoms outcomes OSAHS patients. employed a convenience sampling method recruit 307 OSAHS. A cross-sectional survey was conducted collect data on patients' demographics, the Questionnaire-Short Form, Social Support Rating Scale, Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile II. Latent used heterogeneity FOP this patient sample. can be categorized into three subtypes: low group(16.6%), moderate group (44.3%), high (39.1%). Univariate analyses revealed that gender, education level, smoking history, exercise frequency, coexistence other chronic illnesses, sleeping posture, diagnosis, social support, health-promoting behaviors significantly influenced level FOP. Multivariate logistic regression further risk fear disease progression lower reduced engagement behaviors, sleep positions (e.g., one's side), occasional smoking, diagnostic severity describes characteristics different subtypes, which aids professionals gaining deeper understanding population status Consequently, it facilitates development more precise health promotion intervention strategies, actively responds implementation "Healthy China 2030".
