Peculiarities of the course and management of Ukrainians with post-traumatic stress disorder in the context of the Ukrainian-Russian war

Abstract
Background
The
amount
of
Ukrainians
with
PTSD
has
been
steadily
increasing
since
December
2022.
According
to
the
National
Health
Service,
posttraumatic-stress
disorder
(PTSD)
in
2021
were
3,167
patients;
2022
—
7,051
2023
12.494
2024
(January-June)
6,292,
and
for
forecasts
WHO,
it
will
continue
increase
rapidly.
Methods
study
involved
450
patients
who
sought
psychological
help
at
University
Clinic
Petro
Mohyla
Black
Sea
from
January
June
2024.
All
divided
into
3
groups:
1st
group
(18–44
years);
2nd
(45–59
years),
3rd
(60–74
years).
examination
included
clinical,
psychological,
questionnaire
survey
CAPS-5
scale,
SDS
2000,
static
methods.
Results
In
group,
mild
moderate
course
among
women
occurred
2.0

severe

Conclusions
Examination
found
that,

Background/Aim:
This
study

of
Effects
War
on
Social
Health”

that

have
individuals.

developed

exploratory
and
confirmatory
factor
analyses
test
its
structural
validity.

a

dimensions:

despair”,
“concentration”,
“shame
guilt”

control”.
