Abstract Solar power is energy from the Sun that converted into thermal or electrical energy. China, USA, and India have world’s richest solar sources. receives radiation with an average intensity of 200 MW/km2 250–300 sunny days a year. The in varies 4 to 7 kWh/m2/day, 2300–3200 sunshine hours yearly, depending on region. Badhla Park, Jodhpur, India, largest plant, 2.25 GW installed capacity. best alternative electricity source used explicitly agricultural sector. In farming sector, consumption has been increasing. major issues were installation costs, low availability technicians, poor quality panels. focus skill development equips workforce drive innovation, efficiency, sustained growth renewable-energy field. With support international collaboration skilled workforce, India’s progress boon for industry.
