Background/Objectives: Periodontitis, a prevalent chronic inflammatory disease affecting tooth-supporting structures, has been increasingly linked to systemic conditions such as diabetes mellitus (DM) and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). This study aimed evaluate the periodontal status levels of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) galectin-3 (Gal-3) in gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) patients with periodontitis, heart failure (HF), diabetes, exploring their potential biomarkers for association. Methods: A cross-sectional was conducted on 88 categorized into four groups: periodontally systemically healthy (control, C); periodontitis (P); HF (P+HF); HF, (P+HF+D). Periodontal assessed using probing pocket depth (PPD) Gingival Index (GI). GCF samples were collected analyzed DPP-4 Gal-3 ELISA. Statistical analyses performed assess differences between groups correlations. Results: Results indicated significantly higher all test compared controls (p < 0.0001), highest P+HF+D group. Similarly, elevated patients, particularly those there no significant difference P+HF groups. No observed smokers non-smokers regarding these markers. Positive correlations found parameters immunological markers Conclusions: The findings suggest that may serve association being more upregulated failure.
