To solve rising fertilizer costs and preserve environment from pollution in addition decrease mineral fertilization with using organic fertilizers on leafy vegetables that used salad, a field experiment was done to investigate the impact of irrigation treatments (magnetized water normal water) different rates N vermicompost (100% N, 75% + 25% vermicompost, 50% 100% vermicompost) crisphead lettuce growth quality. The results cleared magnetized gave highest values vegetative growth, ion concentrations, yield Furthermore, fertilized exhibited yield, chlorophyll contents Mg percentage, while plants quality plants. Thus, it is recommended irrigate vermicompost. This treatment can help production by high yield.

DEQUATE and balanced crop nutrition is essential for realizing yield potential of sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L.).Over-reliance on the mineral nitrogen (N) fertilizers poses environmental risks, while boron (B) deficiency also limits productivity.Field studies were conducted over two seasons to evaluate combinations N fertilizer, compost, foliar B beet.Treatments included four compost-mineral ratios (100% recommended dose (RND) as urea, 75% RND + 25% 50% 100% compost) regimes (0, Milano 15%, Borax 11%, Boric acid 17% sprays).Integrating compost supplying 25-50% enhanced root yields sole likely by providing nutrition.Foliar increased yields, with maximum at indicating sub-optimal status.Boric spraying combined higher synergistically.Incorporating improves quality parameters like sucrose content recovery.Foliar augmented response, benefiting accumulation purity through physiological regulation. An integrated nutrient strategy combining suggested promoting productivity in beet.

Salinity and alkaline stress pose major constraints for crop production. The use of soil amendments can help alleviate salinity improve productivity in salt-affected soils. A field experiment was conducted 2021 2022 Damietta, Egypt, to evaluate the effect different organic inorganic on growth, yield, quality, nutrient uptake okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. cv. Treatments included gypsum (GP), matter (poultry manure; OM), fulvic acid (FA), humic (HA), their combinations. application + resulted tallest plants, highest number leaves, greatest leaf area, maximum pod increased over control. It also gave marketable which 100% greater than caused an appreciable improvement properties like pH, EC, CEC ESP. results demonstrated that integrated acid, matter, could effectively reclaim nutritional quality okra. synergistic effects enhancing physical, chemical, biological led better plant growth under conditions. residues helped sustain health. Salinity is one of the abiotic stresses that affect negatively wheat productivity across globe. In Pakistan, a cash crop. Probably, exogenous application salicylic acid could be helpful to induce salt stress resistance in possibly high-yielding modern cultivars Pakistan (Ujala 2016 and Akbar 2019). A pot experiment complete randomized design was therefore conducted sand-filled plastic containers. These pots were planted with seeds at experimental area Department Botany, Government College Women's University Faisalabad, during winter season 2021-2022. Two levels NaCl [0 150mM] applied along Hoagland's nutrient solution 14-day interval two 100 mg L-1] leaves after 28 DAS. All treatments replicated 4 times. Plants sampled 3 weeks foliar estimate morphological biochemical parameters. significantly lessened shoot root fresh/dry weights. Also, it diminished soluble protein, K+ ion, K+/Na+ ratio when grown under saline conditions compared control. On other hand, salinity raised catalase, superoxide dismutase, ascorbic acid, total phenolic, glycine betaine, hydrogen peroxide, malondialdehyde Na+ ion. Exogenic SA activities peroxidase, calcium, this consequently enhanced (fresh dry) weights also non-stressful condition. conclusion, more effective for both acclimatize The cultivar Akbar-2019 revealed better performance than 2019 most characteristics conditions.

Abstract Compost is commonly utilized to improve properties of infertile sandy soils, despite its high biodegradability which may increase greenhouse gases emissions. It possible combine compost with biochar, degrades at a slower rate, forming “co-composted biochar” product. This mixture could enhance plant growth parameters beyond those attained for using each component, individually. To investigate this assumption, zucchini was selected as test be grown, under conditions, on soil that received or co-composted biochar (from rice straw sugarcane bagasse (SB)) duration 15 days. timeframe deemed sufficient achieve relatively stable degradation rate compost. Application organic materials increased both fresh and dry weights plants, particularly when SB used. Specifically, by 1.24–1.71 folds additive versus the control group. Additionally, availability nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium in their uptake plants significantly owing application all additives, superiority SB. Enhancements were strongly correlated increasing phosphorus plants. In conclusion, amendments have substantial positive impact enhancing nutritional status zucchini, even during early vegetative stage (within first days after planting). The greatest improvements observed used confirm main hypothesis study.

Saline calcareous soil presents significant challenges for crop production due to its poor nutrient availability and adverse effects on plant growth. Hence this study aimed investigates the impact of integrating organic amendments—specifically Moringa seed residues, biogas manure, vermicompost (Ver)—with without phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB), alongside two types phosphatic fertilizers, ordinary super phosphate (OSP) rock (RP), growth, yield, uptake wheat plants in saline conditions. The results indicate that combined application Ver + PSB, particularly when paired with OSP, consistently yields superior outcomes across all measured parameters, followed by PSB RP. Notably, OSP treatment exhibits highest values several key parameters: chlorophyll levels (chlorophyll a at 1.8, b 0.84, carotenoids 0.72 mg g−1f wt), proline 38.5 μg g−1 DW, relative water content 80.76%, membrane stability index 67.62%, as well net photosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration (Tr), stomatal conductance (gs). Furthermore, showcases antioxidant enzyme activities (Superoxide dismutase, SOD 9.27 A564 min−1 protein, Catalase, CAT 78.53 Peroxihdase, POX 1.86 protein), NPK straw grains. Additionally, it leads increases growth including height, weight, grain 1000 protein content. However, also notable decrease other parameters such total soluble sugars nonenzymatic antioxidants (Ascorbate, AsA; Total glutathione, GsH; α-Tocopherol, α-TOC).

NTERACTIONS AMONG phosphorus (P) and micronutrients may greatly influence plant growth soil productivity. Thus, a greenhouse investigation of complete randomized design was conducted to highlight such interactions in which clayey (enriched with either 5 mg Fe kg -1 , 1mg Mn ,or 1.5 Zn soil) received P the form calcium superphosphate at three rates equivalent 6.7 (P1), 13.4 (P2, recommended dose) 20.1 (P3).Then, planted maize seeds (Zea mays L var f16) for 60 days. Our results showed that application P3, but not P2, raised significantly fraction extracted by ammonium bicarbonate-diethylene Tri amine penta acetic acid (AB-DTPA-P) versus P1.Likewise, AB-DTPA extractable increased increasing rate applied P, while extractable-Zn decreased. In P-Fe interaction experiment, dose enhanced dry weights, although did affect their heights. This is because applications led significant increases K contents within tissues.Regarding P-Mn interactions, P2 content plants highest (P3) diminished this content. In spite that, weights seemed be comparable between P2and P3 both exhibited higher than P1.Finally, P-Zn revealed N due fertilizer.Accordingly, significantly. In conclusion, doses or even less need absorb more micronutrient (Fe, Zn) from metabolism growth; yet, high inputs uptake uptake.
