Reading is often viewed as the foundation of all learning including postgraduate study.It common for most institutions higher to assume that students come equipped with basic competencies literacy and required academic reading skills.Nevertheless, studies have shown some international whom English a foreign language (EFL) face several challenges in skills.This study examined how skills group can be enhanced through six-month treatment program referred PAH (Pedagogy-Andragogy-Heutagogy) Continuum which emphasized methodology shifted from full dependence negotiated independence.The employed quasiexperimental research design involved an intact 50 studying private university Malaysia, where medium instruction.Data were collected pre post comprehension tests, questionnaires five focus interviews.Quantitative data analysed using descriptive inferential statistics, whilst qualitative thematic analysis.The findings showed PAH-Continuum Training Programme learners' gave them confidence do well their studies.The also implied programme utilized viable teaching framework help adult mature learners develop study.

In education, detecting students graduating on time is difficult due to high data complexity. Researchers have employed various approaches in identifying on-time graduation with Machine Learning, but it remains a challenging task the class imbalance dataset. This study has aimed (i) compare treatment methods different sampling ratios, (ii) propose an ensemble method mitigating problem of imbalance, and (iii) develop evaluate predictive models likelihood during their studies university. The dataset collected from 4007 graduates university year 2021 2022 41 variables. After feature selection, were compared ratios ranging 50% 90%. Moreover, Ensemble-SMOTE proposed aggregate generated by Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique variants effectively. used as input graduation. evaluated based accuracy, precision, recall, F0.5-score, F1-score, F2-score, Area under Curve, Under Precision-Recall Curve. Based findings, Logistic Regression outperformed other models, achieving highest average accuracy (87.24), recall (92.50%), F1-score (91.30%), F2-score (92.02%) 6th until 10th trimester. To assess effectiveness methods, Friedman test performed determine significant difference between after applying Shapiro-Wilk normality test. Consequently, ranked top-performers lowest value rank performance metrics. Additional research could incorporate examine more complicated when highly imbalanced.

In education, identifying the important pre-university study factors poses a formidable challenge, due to necessity for human intervention in variable selection process. Determining enables educational institutions shape strategic planning throughout student's entire academic journey, with specific focus on factors. Researchers have investigated various approaches identify optimal features. One of techniques is by leveraging Artificial Intelligence. Therefore, this has attempted (i) variables towards graduate time, and (ii) develop as well evaluate predictive models without identified. The dataset collected from university Malaysia, containing 4463 student records 27 variables. It consists profile, registration details, grades Sijil Pelajaran English Test. Data preprocessing was performed remove those features more than 75% missing values impute other median. Important identified applying Boruta, BorutaShap. Among 22 variables, both methods permanent address district, date birth, campus, program description, History subject. To influence several Machine Learning were constructed its simplicity evaluated based accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, Area under Curve, findings showed that Gaussian NB produced highest recall (95.2%) when BorutaShap used.
