BACKGROUND The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated rapid changes to health care delivery, including a shift from in-person digitally delivered psychotherapy. While these helped ensure timely psychotherapy provision, many concerns exist, clinical, cultural, practical, privacy, and security issues. OBJECTIVE This scoping review systematically mapped existing peer-reviewed research on synchronous, therapist-delivered web-based for individuals with diagnosed mental illness. Data were analyzed through the lens of Alberta Quality Matrix Health (AQMH) assess what degree this literature addresses key indicators quality. analysis aided in identification organization knowledge gaps regard psychotherapies, highlighting potential disparities between previously prioritized dimensions those requiring further attention. Over 80% (40/48) investigated cognitive exposure intervention posttraumatic stress disorder mood anxiety disorder, generally indicating comparable results therapy. Safety (n=5, 10%) fewer studies, while efficiency not explicitly any study, although mentioned as future direction, hypothesis, outcome. The use of telemedicine is increasingly being implemented, showing numerous benefits over other methods. A good example this the following breakdown caused by COVID-19 pandemic. All over the world, measures were taken to prevent spread of COVID-19. Social distancing not only had a strong influence on mental health, but also organization care systems. It changed existing practices, as we rapidly move from face-to-face contact remote with patients. These changes have prompted research into attitudes healthcare professionals towards telepsychology. Several factors affect these attitudes: at institutional and organizational level, collective personal experience practitioners. The rapid growth of online counseling (OC) services for mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic prompted concerns regarding its effectiveness compared to in-person counseling. Psychologists have expressed uncertainties about OC's efficacy and doubts their competence in using it. As a result, psychologists been hesitant embrace OC methods supporting technologies. Therefore, it has become crucial study factors that influence acceptance use technology, enabling develop necessary skills confidence utilize inpatient treatment effectively.
