Objective The COVID-19 pandemic exposed significant gaps in Iran’s and other health systems’ risk communication. accompanying infodemic undermined policy responses, amplified distrust government reduced adherence to public recommendations among the Iranian population. This study aimed develop a conceptual framework for communication management (RCIM) during epidemics emergencies Iran that could have potential applications contexts. Design was designed two phases. Phase 1 involved semistructured qualitative interviews with key informants explore effective RCIM strategies across settings framework. 2 revising based on feedback from an online expert panel regarding its comprehensiveness validity. Misinformation related to vaccines has been shown potentially negatively impact public perceptions and intentions vaccinate in many contexts including COVID-19 vaccination Ghana. Psychological inoculation - where recipients are warned about the misleading techniques used misinformation is a potential intervention which could preemptively boost resistance against misinformation. Cranky Uncle Vaccine an interactive, digital game that applies inoculation, offering scalable tool building resilience vaccine promoting positive health-related behaviors. In this study, we document process of developing testing West African version Vaccine, with co-design workshops pilot test conducted urban peri-urban areas Greater Accra region Ghana 829 young people who had access mobile computer devices. The average age was 21.8 participants were highly educated (median education level "Some/all university") slightly more females (51.2%) than males (48.4%). Pilot filled out surveys before after playing game, measuring attitudes (pre-game M = 3.4, post-game 3.6), intent get vaccinated 3.5, discernment between facts fallacies AUC 0.72, 0.75). We observed significant improvement toward vaccines, players demonstrating increased likelihood completing game.
