Family caregivers provide essential care in the home to millions of individuals around globe annually. However, family caregiving results considerable burden, financial hardship, stress, and psychological morbidity. Identifying managing stress is important as they have a dual role their own health well that person for. If becomes overwhelming, caregiver may no longer be able perform this role. Abstract Objectives There are limited mental health support services in Australia that address the well‐being of family members aged care residents. The aim this project was to evaluate feasibility, acceptability and preliminary effectiveness an online program designed residents' families. Methods This one‐arm mixed methods examined uptake, attendance retention patterns, satisfaction experience with service, pre‐ postoutcomes respect depressive anxiety symptoms loneliness. sample comprised 38 participants. Results rates were high: 86%, 87% 95%, respectively. Participants satisfied content format program. benefits participation included following: connecting peers, developing emotional strategies, learning about dementia issues. About 53 million adults in the United States offer informal care to family and friends with disease or disability. Such has an estimated economic value of US $600 million. Most caregivers are not paid nor trained caregiving, many experiencing higher-than-average levels stress depression lower physical health. Some participate web-based forums related their caregiving role. This study aimed explore how use easy-to-access forums, including types information they share seek from others. It also gain insights into caregiver experience content these posted. The population consisted participants who posted on 5 for between February April 2024. Researchers extracted first 6 responses 20 questions comments appear by each removing any individually identifying information. We used a codebook thematic analysis approach examine data Dedoose (SocioCultural Research Consultants). independently read all posts coded data. author group discussed codes, reiteratively refined them, identified themes within 100 initial 600 responses. The care of chronically ill and older adults affects families in terms physical, emotional, relational, social impact; the functioning family; an alteration family dynamics. This study aimed to evaluate experiences caregivers patients depth. A qualitative was conducted, consisting twenty-four narrative interviews with adults, twenty-three women one man. were all close relatives patients. main results as follows: (i) caregiving is predominantly performed by females; (ii) caregiver ‘indirect’ illness; (iii) undergoes changes roles, responsibilities, relationships; (iv) support needs emerge, especially those a social, family, work, economic nature; (v) resources are also activated, linked presence or absence self-care. Illnesses directly impact primary caregiver, but they have repercussions on entire unit, which may activate coping strategies lead breakdown. ABSTRACT Aim To summarise peer support in digital use and health interventions for older adults. Data Sources The following databases were searched (from 2010 to 2024): PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, the Cochrane Library EBSCOhost. Review Methods This review is based on Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta‐Analyses extension Scoping Reviews. All articles selected extracted double‐checked. data analysed using inductive descriptive approach presented table narrative form. Results included 21 studies involving adults aged 60 or older, primarily from developed countries, focused post‐21st century. Peer through face‐to‐face online, peer‐led coached intervention, motivation companionship interventions, group‐based mutual social media online platforms websites apps. cognitive theory was common theoretical framework. Most indicate high feasibility, acceptability effectiveness six domains. It facilitated information behaviour exchange, improved mental health, enhanced support, increased cost‐effectiveness adherence. However, some have shown ineffectiveness, influenced by design issues, negative norms, technological network size study limitations. Besides, qualitative results indicated positive experiences personal worth connection, while involved barriers, emotional burdens, privacy issues lack recognition. Conclusions represents a valuable complement existing adults, with important implications practices healthcare outcomes. ABSTRACT Researchers have extensively documented the financial, social, emotional, and psychological challenges that families of incarcerated people face, there are growing calls for programs services to help these confront collateral consequences imprisonment. This article uses data from an ethnographic study exploring how family members in prison constructed leveraged communities support them cope with stressors having loved one. Drawing on 8 months observations a group in‐depth interviews eight participants this group, we present findings related members' perspectives they their reasons joining group's strengths limitations. Based findings, argue groups should be facilitated by trained professionals who well versed unique traumas associated contact criminal legal system.

Background/Objective: Caregivers from the Millennial generation are an emerging and understudied group of unpaid care providers in America who may benefit digitally delivered support. To inform design/tailoring interventions for this group, we aimed to understand how Millennials differ other generations caregivers regarding digital health-related technology use. Methods: Using Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS), Version 6, conducted a cross-sectional study comparing health access use across four (n = 545; Millennials, Gen X, Baby Boomers, Silent Generation) adults with chronic conditions using chi-square Kruskal–Wallis non-parametric tests. Results: Compared Boomer Generation caregivers, more frequently reported having cellular internet connection, wearable activity device, health/wellness mobile application, choosing telehealth appointments convenience, most used social media general view videos (ps < 0.005).
