Background Telemonitoring is a promising approach to facilitate patients’ self-management and improve health outcomes, especially among people with chronic conditions. Yet, many healthcare organisations struggle implement telemonitoring successfully. IT identity, an individual’s self-identification information technology (IT) tool, has been suggested strongly predict shape the use of technology. identity related three emotional responses: energy, dependence relatedness. Objective To explore how professionals’ shaped, it affects their attitude towards intended telemonitoring. Design Qualitative, semistructured interview study. Setting Primary care hospitals (general academic) in Netherlands. Participants Sixteen nurses, pulmonologists, general practitioners researchers working obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) care. Results expressed varying responses regarding We associated participants’ dimensions identity. Regarding some pride innovating, while others lacked faith using dependence, different perceived intentions needs for were identified: coach patients, prevent deterioration health, achieve logistical advantages patients preserve accessibility healthcare. relatedness, participants strong external but weak internal motivation Based on responses, we identified five manifestations that illustrate professionals COPD care: Scientist, Innovator, Protector, Empowerer Conversationalist. These differ readiness innovate beliefs what means be good provider: protect or coach. Conclusion Healthcare relatedness shaped they used Implementation strategies tailored could help sustainable implementation clinical practice.

Background Mobile health (mHealth) apps provide innovative solutions for improving treatment adherence, facilitating lifestyle modifications, and optimizing blood pressure control in patients with hypertension. Despite their potential benefits, the adoption recommendation of mHealth by physicians Germany remain limited. This reluctance may be due to a lack understanding factors influencing physicians’ willingness incorporate these digital tools into routine clinical practice. Understanding is crucial fostering greater integration hypertension care. Objective The aim this study was explore relationship between information needs acceptance factors, how elements can support effective daily medical routines. Methods We conducted qualitative involving 24 semistructured telephone interviews physicians, including 14 cardiologists 10 general practitioners, who are involved hypertensive patients. Participants were selected through purposive sampling ensure diverse range perspectives. Thematic analysis using MAXQDA software (Verbi GmbH) identify key themes subthemes related use apps. Results revealed significant variability regarding apps, particularly concerning functionalities, impact on patient outcomes. These informational gaps play critical role determining whether willing recommend Key determinants identified, availability robust knowledge about high-quality reliable data, generational shifts within profession, solid evidence supporting effectiveness clearly defined areas application responsibilities physician-patient relationship. found that could significantly increased targeted educational initiatives, enhanced data quality, better existing workflows. Background/Objectives: China has introduced a series of policies to encourage family physicians (FPs) provide remote diagnosis and treatment (RDT) services, with the ultimate goal providing more continuous, convenient, efficient medical services for all residents, especially elderly patients chronic diseases. However, few studies have focused on this important issue. The aim study was comprehensive description FPs' use of, barriers to, attitudes toward RDT in China. Methods: A cross-sectional survey implemented study. data were analyzed via basic descriptive statistics are expressed as percentages. Additionally, single-factor logistic regression used compare groups terms outcome measures. Results: Among 682 respondents, 63.8% had participated RDT, 36.2% never RDT. 435 respondents who 19.1% high-frequency users, 80.9% low-frequency users. results revealed that there significant differences among FPs age (p = 0.034), educational background < 0.001), hospital type 0.008), income result their work an FP 0.002), form employment general practitioner status 0.001). Mobile health applications have become essential tools in modern healthcare, enabling professionals to access real-time drug information, clinical guidelines, and patient management resources. While globally embraced, the adoption of these apps resource-limited settings like Palestine remains under-researched, particularly among community pharmacists, who are pivotal healthcare system. This study explores perceptions, awareness, challenges faced by Palestinian pharmacists regarding mobile applications. It aims assess feasibility integrating into their practice improve pharmaceutical care outcomes. A cross-sectional online survey was conducted 2023 Palestine. self-administered electronic questionnaire distributed via social media, targeting registered pharmacists. Data were collected using a structured, validated addressing demographics, app usage patterns, perceived benefits, barriers. Descriptive inferential analyses performed SPSS® software, with P-values ≤0.05 considered statistically significant. The included 400 predominantly female (65.8%). Pharmacists frequently used information resources for verifying interactions (89%) dosages (98%), citing quick reliable as major advantage. Barriers time constraints (92.3%) concerns about trust (77.8%). No significant associations found between demographics (e.g., gender, years experience) perceptions usefulness or trust. strong positive correlation (P < 0.001) observed pharmacists' support perception applications' reliability. indicates that perceive more likely use practice. Limited impacts medication safety, trust, quality. Adopting can efficiency, reduce errors, align pharmacy standards, highlighting need future research.
