Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to improve quality and efficiency of medical triage in primary care. However, there are many uncertainties related its use. Trust these systems is important for successful integration advancement into healthcare, yet this remains an understudied issue. Understanding influences on trust actual use AI necessary developing effective implementation strategies. This study aimed explore healthcare professionals patients AI-based care Sweden. We applied qualitative design using inductive approach based semi-structured interviews with 14 12 two regions The participants had experience were transcribed verbatim analyzed reflexive thematic analysis trust. Healthcare experienced three types their care: (1) provision accurate patient information, (2) alignment clinical expertise, (3) supervision patients' health safety. Their experiences across themes varied only terms influence experience-based knowledge. Both emphasized importance constructive dialogue, along clear instructions storage information. results demonstrate that building requires improved interaction ensure system adapted users' competencies level expertise. generalizability insights limited Future research should different settings inform policy, as well safe applications.
