Purpose As the global population ages, long-term/post-acute care (LTPAC) systems face challenges in ensuring quality for older adults with complex medical needs. Using health information technology (IT) is a promising strategy to address these challenges. However, evidence gaps remain regarding barriers and facilitators integration LTPAC. Thus, current study explored adoption emerging models of through International Summit on Innovation Technology Care Older People (IS-ITCOP). Method The IS-ITCOP Summit, held June 2024, brought together 47 interdisciplinary experts from eight countries. Qualitative data were collected via facilitated discussion groups analyzed using two approaches: human-coded thematic analysis ChatGPT 4.0-driven analysis. Results Shared themes included barriers, ethical considerations, workforce challenges, patient-centered care. Human emphasized abstract themes, whereas provided granular insights technologies. Conclusion Combining human artificial intelligence–driven analyses enriched understanding, highlighting opportunities integrating IT into LTPAC systems. The integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) into health professions education (HPE) is rapidly transforming learning environments, raising questions about its impact on teaching and learning. This mixed methods study explores clinical educators’ undergraduate students’ perceptions attitudes using GenAI tools in HPE at a tertiary hospital Singapore. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) Unified Theory Use (UTAUT) as theoretical frameworks, we designed administered survey conducted interviews to assess participants’ perceived usefulness, ease use, concerns related adoption. Quantitative data were analyzed for frequencies percentages, while qualitative responses underwent thematic analysis. Results showed that students demonstrated higher adoption rates (68.7%) compared educators (38.5%), with valuable efficiency, research, personalized However, included over-reliance GenAI, diminished critical thinking, ethical implications. Educators emphasized need institutional guidelines training support responsible integration. Our findings suggest holds great potential enhancing education, structured policies oversight are crucial effective use. These insights contribute ongoing discourse HPE.

Background Outcome measures are increasingly emphasised as effective tools in Australian mental health policy. However, limited understanding exists about usage patterns and barriers among counsellors psychotherapists practising Australia. This study addresses this gap by examining the prevalence, usage, perceptions of outcome within counselling psychotherapy workforce. Objectives explored whether why members Psychotherapy Counselling Federation Australia (PACFA) use identified what factors influence their choices. Method A mixed-methods design was used, combining quantitative qualitative data from an online survey distributed to PACFA members. total 1,177 respondents participated, representing 34% PACFA’s registered clinicians. Quantitative were analysed using descriptive statistics via Statistical Package for Social Sciences, responses thematically. Results The majority (76.6%) used regularly, primarily because institutional requirements utility tracking client progress. Barriers included time constraints, complexity evaluation measures, perceived misalignment with client-centred approaches. Non-users cited concerns incompatibility standardised therapeutic models focused on relational dynamics. Conclusions/Implications finds a need that align diverse approaches training practitioners them effectively. These findings timely government moves towards establishing national standards sector have implications policy, practice, professional development. Future research should focus developing flexible, user-friendly addressing adoption both public private practice settings.
