ABSTRACT
Biological
anthropologists
have
long
engaged
in
qualitative
data
analysis
(QDA),
though
such
work
is
not
always
foregrounded.
In
this
article,
we
discuss
the
role
of
rigorous
and
systematic
QDA
biological
anthropology
consider
how
it
can
be
understood
advanced.

Purpose
As
the
global
population
ages,
long-term/post-acute
care
(LTPAC)
systems
face
challenges
in
ensuring
quality
for
older
adults
with
complex
medical
needs.
Using
health
information
technology
(IT)
is
a
promising
strategy
to
address
these
challenges.
However,
evidence
gaps
remain
regarding
barriers
and
facilitators
integration
LTPAC.
Thus,
current
study
explored
adoption
emerging
models
of
through
International
Summit
on
Innovation
Technology
Care
Older
People
(IS-ITCOP).
Method
The
IS-ITCOP
Summit,
held
June
2024,
brought
together
47
interdisciplinary
experts
from
eight
countries.
Qualitative
data
were
collected
via
facilitated
discussion
groups
analyzed
using
two
approaches:
human-coded
thematic
analysis
ChatGPT
4.0-driven
analysis.
Results
Shared
themes
included
barriers,
ethical
considerations,
workforce
challenges,
patient-centered
care.
Human
emphasized
abstract
themes,
whereas
provided
granular
insights
technologies.
Conclusion
Combining
human
artificial
intelligence–driven
analyses
enriched
understanding,
highlighting
opportunities
integrating
IT
into
LTPAC
systems.

The
integration
of
Generative
Artificial
Intelligence
(GenAI)
into
health
professions
education
(HPE)
is
rapidly
transforming
learning
environments,
raising
questions
about
its
impact
on
teaching
and
learning.
This
mixed
methods
study
explores
clinical
educators’
undergraduate
students’
perceptions
attitudes
using
GenAI
tools
in
HPE
at
a
tertiary
hospital
Singapore.
Using
the
Technology
Acceptance
Model
(TAM)
Unified
Theory
Use
(UTAUT)
as
theoretical
frameworks,
we
designed
administered
survey
conducted
interviews
to
assess
participants’
perceived
usefulness,
ease
use,
concerns
related
adoption.
Quantitative
data
were
analyzed
for
frequencies
percentages,
while
qualitative
responses
underwent
thematic
analysis.
Results
showed
that
students
demonstrated
higher
adoption
rates
(68.7%)
compared
educators
(38.5%),
