Research training is important for medical trainees, because it improves their critical thinking, problem-solving, and the application of scientific principles to clinical practice. The COVID-19 Pandemic, which limited trainees' access hospitals, had also disrupted traditional research training. International Emergency Medicine Education Project introduced online Fundamentals in course support trainees. was designed as an expert interview. This format intended foster a relaxed learning environment promote experience sharing rather than transferring only factual information about research. study assesses course's effect on participants' perceived knowledge confidence concepts. A prospective observational mixed-methods conducted through Project's platform. Pre- post-course surveys measured levels across 16 research-related topics. Quantitative survey data were analysed using Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test, qualitative feedback evaluated explore experiences. total 272 participants enrolled course. 168 started, 52 (19.2%) completed pre- post-surveys completion exam. Medical students interns, well from Africa Asia, comprised majority. Most India. 78.8% low-income or lower-middle-income countries.
