Student academic performance in secondary level of education is essential as it a determinant their future pathway to tertiary education. The effective students academics dependent on the technical leadership skills that principal applies leading schools. Kenya Certificate Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations by public schools Mount Elgon Sub County has been below average recent years. aim this paper was investigate how principals affected County, Bungoma Kenya. study anchored descriptive survey research design targeting 17 County. A total 256 teachers formed population. sample size 152 selected based Kathuri and Pals table. respondents were through use stratified random sampling technique. instrument used questionnaire. To ensure validity reliability questionnaire send an expert pilot test- retest method conducted respectively. Analysis data performed using inferential statistics with help SPSS (Version 25.0) for quantitative data. It established there significant weak positive relationship between principals’ (r=0.248, p=0.006) concludes significant principal’s (p<0.05). This meant application influenced recommends should undergo training ICT use, they provide instructional guidance prudent financial management practices are implemented
