The school literacy movement has become an important focus for improving the quality of education in Indonesia. One problems that contributes to decline students' understanding learning process is low interest reading among students This research involved 15 elementary teachers and three main figures. aims analyze implementation GELIS (School Literacy Movement) program schools. uses CIPP approach, this type called descriptive evaluation. Data collection was mainly carried out through surveys, which included observation, interviews, distributing questionnaires participants. findings show using methods strategies, namely preliminary studies, objectives, division into several aspects literacy, habituation, development, programs. results evaluation context accordance with objectives character building increasing student input standard facilities infrastructure but needs improvements teacher resources, line expectations. planning stages sorting activities based on products had a positive impact, both teachers, increase percentage those category who "always" read book minutes from 21.4% 92%.
