Abstract
Peri-urban
areas,
positioned
between
urban
and
rural
regions,
are
highly
accessible
from
cities
often
undergo
land
use
changes
agricultural

a

rice-producing
area,

limited,

non-agricultural
demand
grows
due
population

Abstract
Many
factors
drive
land
use
and
cover
change
(LULC)
including
biophysical
socio-economic
conditions.
Since
Ngawi
Regency
is
one
of
the
areas
passed
by
toll
road,
in
this
study
we
selected
as
area
to
provide
an
understanding
use/cover
dynamics
caused
economic
factors.
This
aims
(1)
analyse
distribution
before
after
road
exists
(2)
investigate
its
relationship
with
population
growth.

satellite
imageries

2020).

statistics

rice
fields
