This study explores the attitudes and perceptions of preservice teachers regarding applications Generative Artificial Intelligence, with particular reference to ChatGPT their use in school. Functional elements emerge for professors, teachers' trainers, instructional designers. There is interest appreciation potential, caution considering classroom, incomplete awareness specific characteristics. The ability adapt texts  not perceived. Instead, confidence emerges reliability results when searching information disbelief that they can be alternative tools traditional search engines. participants agree on need systematic widespread training, which should involve teachers, in-service students.
