Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the pillar of Slovak economy; they make up 99.9% total number business entities.In corporate economy, provide 71.8% job opportunities for active workforce 55.1% participate in creation added value.We conclude that an important economy therefore it is necessary to point out their sustainability not only during pandemic but also after it.All data with which we work secondary quantitative data, come mainly from official statistics Business Agency Statistical Office.It a collection data; analysis, combination summary was required.The length time series or period depends always on its availability, so selected indicator may be different (we focus -2020 2021, if available).However, previous periods were used estimate indicators' development trends.The contribution will evaluate SMEs conclusions possible solutions future.

Did Republican-Led States Perform Better at Protecting Jobs Against COVID-19 in the United States? DOI

This study investigated the short-term effects of partisan control by state governments on employment during 2020 COVID-19 pandemic in United States. Specifically, we examined whether Republican government was associated with lower unemployment rates and higher employment-to-population ratios. Our results revealed that party exerted a weak effect but interaction number pandemic-related deaths had strong negative (positive) impact (employment-to-population ratios). The moderation our variables supports conclusion Republican-led states produced better outcomes against pandemic.
