Considering the loss of talented youth in Ukraine caused by migration, there is a growing need to investigate how attract and retain students. The relationship between health indicators and labour productivity has been gaining increasing importance as European economies have come to navigate ageing populations, health-related absenteeism, evolving employment structures. This study investigates how vulnerable employment, Disability-Adjusted Life Years (DALYs) affect GDP per person employed across 21 countries from 2000 2021. Employing a robust methodological framework – including Two-Way Fixed Effects, Feasible Generalized Least Squares, Linear Mixed Models the analysis accounted for heteroscedasticity, unobserved heterogeneity, panel structure of data. Model was identified most reliable interpreting outcomes based on model comparison criteria. findings indicate that 1% increase in absenteeism is associated with 0.064% decrease employed. DALYs among older workers (aged 50–69) reduce by 0.657% increase, while younger 15–49) show marginally positive effect 0.132%. Vulnerable impact 0.089% increase. In contrast, rise share wage salaried contributes 2.383% productivity. These underscore strengthening systems workers, reducing vulnerability, promoting stable, formal job opportunities support long-term economic performance.

Accelerating technological progress is a potential threat to employment. In this context, the reduction of taxes on labour income can be used as an effective measure maintain employment, but it will inevitably decrease tax revenues. Various solutions are being considered compensate for loss revenue, including taxation automated capital (e.g., robots). This paper presents analysis effectiveness alternative in context progress. The study employs general equilibrium model that has been calibrated European Union economy. examine range policy scenarios involve combination reduced rates with robots at different (5%, 10%, and 20%). modelling results show robot taxation, while attractive theory, inefficient practice, hinders economic growth. findings confirm tax: (1) leads lower employment levels than alone; (2) negative impact growth, especially high automation; (3) does not generate sufficient revenue taxes. It is, therefore, evident ways ensuring fiscal sustainability economy must identified.

Research background: Migration from high-income countries has gained renewed attention as a significant phenomenon in the context of global labour markets and economic integration.
