Background: Parental self-efficacy (PSE) in parents of children with Down syndrome (DS) refers to parents’ efficacy their capability as nurturing DS. Therefore, this study aimed determine factors that may influence PSE Methods: This cross-sectional was carried out on 87 Self-Efficacy Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) administered measure levels. Spearman’s rank correlation and independent t-test were applied PSE. These include gender, children’s age, duration being diagnosed DS, comorbidities, number the family, educational level, monthly household income, place residence, genetic counseling, support group. Results: The results showed median scores SEPTI 114 (101-143), 57.5% had moderate Significant affecting comorbidities (r = - 0.197, p 0.033) residence -0.212, 0.024). Parents fewer (119 (109-128), =0.034), those higher education (118 (110-132), 0.031), living urban areas (115 0.025) demonstrated Additionally, multiple linear regression analysis comorbidity most significant predictor (PR= 0.17, 95% CI 0.03 0.77, 0.020). Conclusions: Children affect besides level parent’s identity.
