This study aims to investigate the behavior of consumers in rural mountain tourism, with a particular focus on sustainability and durability. Questionnaire surveys were conducted 2022 Bucharest during national tourism fair, collecting responses from 212 visitors based their availability participate. Our purpose was gather opinions visiting areas Carpathian Mountains Romania reveal distinct patterns tourist preferences. The analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 20.0, where descriptive analyses Mann–Whitney U test performed. results indicated that perceptions service satisfaction vary demographic economic characteristics. Women slightly favored higher-quality accommodations dining services, while lower-income secondary-educated respondents expressed higher contentment local hospitality. research emphasizes need nuanced approach services promotes community engagement sustainable practices ensure long-term environmental viability.
