Abstract A field experiment was carried out in the fields of College Agriculture, University Anbar, Ramadi district, during agricultural season 2022-2023. The RCBD design applied a split-split plot arrangement and included three factors: cadmium (0, 75 mg L −1 ), genotypes (G-31 IRAQ), treatments (Control: melatonin (MET100) 100 mmol, molybdenum (Mo 15 ) , MET ×Mo ). results showed that interaction between significantly reduced concentration shoots grains, particularly G-31 genotype, within internationally permissible limits. In addition, treatment with led to an increase relative gene expression PCS1 reduction transfer efficiency (from shoot grain) genotype G-31, which distinguished by low content relatively compared IRAQ genotype. Molybdenum accumulation is characterized content. Accordingly, we recommend applying treat wheat grains planted soil potentially contaminated cadmium. Genotype found be suitable for growing such soils.
