Climate Change is one of the biggest concerns 21<sup>st</sup> century due to its worldwide economic, social, and environmental causes consequences which primarily impact poor countries. models indicate that if present emissions trends continue, temperatures might rise by more than 2°C, alarming. As a result, over next 40 years, yearly per person must be gradually reduced from about seven tons two tons. Blockchain technology, provides decentralized, transparent, unchangeable system can encourage sustainable practices, has become game-changing instrument in struggle combat climate change. This study investigates how blockchain used improve programs' efficiency, accountability, transparency fight against Better carbon tracking, renewable energy certificate verification, assistance for supply chains are all made possible blockchain's special features. technology lot promise change promote development, but uptake needs balanced with factors like scalability efficiency. It offer long-term answers issues advancing low-energy consensus methods enabling legislation, fostering transparent global economy. review offers important insights different stakeholders looking use improvement highlighting benefits difficulties incorporating into action plans. This study explored the association between renewable energy uptake and digitalization in sector by reviewing relevant literature (published 2010–2022), with aim of identifying existing utilization digital technologies within sector, challenges to adoption, future prospects. Different search engines (SCOPUS, Web Science, Google Scholar) were used locate papers documents. The results revealed high significance supporting costs security risks representing key challenges. Most reviewed had a positive outlook, but recommended further research development for effective transition resilient infrastructure. current drivers integration support diffusion sources appear extend beyond demand involve many aspects sustainability sustainable development. Compared previous reviews, this work has unique scope novelty since it considers bigger picture coupling greater focus on critical areas these two interconnected bodies that need be addressed. relatively small sample (69 from 836 hits) located review confirms more covering subject depth.
