Here we report on a case of 61-year-old female patient with 7-year history major depressive disorder shorter-duration hypomanic episodes who was prescribed antidepressants which turned out to be ineffective. After COVID-19 infection, the patient's clinical presentation became sufficient for diagnosis bipolar and she consistently effective mood stabilizer an atypical antipsychotic. The course treatment in this suggests is not binary disorder, but continuous spectrum disorder. For patients suffering from episodes, stabilizers antipsychotics are possibly more suitable than antidepressants.
