The strong pyrocatalytic dye decomposition of the BaTiO3/Pr2O3 heterojunction catalyst under cold-hot alternation conditions has been demonstrated in this work. For pure BaTiO3 nanofibers, ~54% rhodamine B (RhB) is decomposed 29–57 ℃ alternation. With loading content Pr2O3 increases from 0 to 4 wt%, ratio RhB solution increased first and then decreases, eventually achieving a maximum 91% at 3.0 wt%. enhanced performance after can be attributed internal electric field heterojunction, which effectively separates positive negative charges. strongly makes it hopeful for application wastewater treatment through harvesting environmental temperature thermal energy future.

Coating disk-shaped materials on the bottoms of containers has become a highly effective method for tribocatalysis enhancement. Here, effects Ti coatings tribocatalytic degradation organic dyes by CdS nanoparticles were systematically studied. For both 50 mg/L rhodamine B (RhB) and 20 methyl orange (MO) solutions, was dramatically enhanced in Ti-coated beakers compared to as-received glass-bottomed beakers, with rate constant increased 4.77 5.21 times, respectively. Moreover, MO using CdS, two quite different modes identified between Al2O3 coatings. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy analyses showed that more radicals generated when rubbed against coating than glass bottom, boron nitride employed verify enhancement associated resulted from interactions CdS. These findings underscore importance catalyst material selection systems, offering valuable insights development efficient environmental purification technologies.

Triboelectrification, a process that transforms mechanical energy into electrical through friction, holds promise for eco-friendly wastewater treatment. This study delves the enhancement of tribocatalytic dye degradation using SrTiO₃, material notable its non-piezoelectric and centrosymmetric properties. The synthesis uni- bi-doped SrTiO₃ particles, achieved solid-state reaction at 1000 °C, results in high-purity cubic perovskite structure. Doping with Rhodium (Rh) Carbon (C) causes crystal lattice contraction, internal stress, significant oxygen vacancies. These changes notably improve efficiency under solar irradiation, Rh-doped demonstrating an impressive rate approximately 88% RhB, alongside constants nearing 0.9 h⁻¹ 554 nm noticeable blue shift. highlights defects introduced by doping are integral to this process, boosting catalytic activity state modification enhancing surface redox radical production. Additionally, these instrumental generating flexoelectric field, which markedly influences separation electron-hole pairs irradiation. Our findings illuminate complex interplay between composition, defect states, environmental conditions, paving way advanced strategies remediation optimized activity.

GaN is more stable than most metal oxide semiconductors for the photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants in harsh conditions, while its catalytic efficiency has been difficult to be substantially improved. In this study, tribocatalytic dyes by nanoparticles investigated. Stimulated through magnetic stirring using homemade Teflon rotary disks glass beakers, were found induce negligible rhodamine B (RhB) and methyl orange (MO) solutions. Surprisingly, was greatly enhanced beakers with Ti Al2O3 coatings on their bottoms: 99.2% 99.8% 20 mg/L RhB solutions degraded 3 h coatings, respectively, 56% 60.2% MO 24 respectively. Moreover, molecules only broken into smaller coating, they completely coating. These findings are important environments achieving a better understanding tribocatalysis as well.
