Latin
America

Caribbean
(LAC)
is
among
most
unequal
regions
in
world
terms
of
wealth
household
income.
Such
inequalities
have
been
shown
to
influence
different
outcomes
during
COVID-19
pandemic,
including
disruption
routine
health
services.
The
aim
this
paper
examine
socioeconomic
experiences
healthcare
LAC
countries
from
mid-2020

2021.

ABSTRACT
Objective:
To
analyze
time
trends
and
prevalence
of
physical
activity
sedentary
behavior
among
adults
Brazilian
capitals
between
2006
2021,
including
the
pandemic
period.
Methods:
This
is
a
time-series
cross-sectional
surveys
based
on
National
Surveillance
System
for
Risk
Protective
Factors
Chronic
Diseases
by
Telephone
Survey.
Trends
sufficient

To
identify
and
describe
innovative
initiatives
implemented
as
a
response
to
the
interruption
of
health
services
during
COVID-19
pandemic
in
Latin
America
Caribbean
(LAC).This

Background
The
epidemiology

childhood
SARS-CoV-2
infection
and
COVID-19-related
illness
remains
little
studied
in
high-transmission
tropical
settings,
partly
due
to
the
less
severe
clinical
manifestations

developed
