Objective: To evaluate the teachers’ perceptions regarding their emotions, health and work, as well students’ situation, during pandemic. Methods: Cross-sectional, quantitative descriptive study, carried out with teachers from public education network in state of Piauí. The bivariate analysis model was applied using Pearson’s Chi-square test, considering significance level at 5% to check associations analyze reliability questionnaire. Internal consistency calculated Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. Results: Hopeless emotion most perceived by teachers. Conversely, they felt satisfied work. There no influence sociodemographic characteristics on hopeless. In addition, stated that had good expectations when pandemic over. Regarding it identified partially agreed there been harm. Conclusion: Feeling hopeless independent individual’s characteristics, teacher’s gender, age or race/skin color.
