Over-dependence on virgin resources has been a major topic of social and political debates as the world's population urbanization continue to rise. The high rate rural–urban migration changes in standard living habits give rise rapid economic activities that have an enormous impact gradual increase waste generation continued demand for electricity urban centres. solutions these concerns can be achieved through efficient management options by resource utilization energy nutrient recovery reduced solid pollution footprint. This research examined viability present projected municipal streams generate green field surveys physical characterization composition, quantity based available data period 2000 – 2014, modelled methane gas generated IPCC method, value was determined respectively. findings indicated organic content 54.1% MSW per capita 0.49–0.57 kg/capita/day. from 353717.41 2,223497 tonnes between 2014 2035 at growth 9.15%. accounted estimated 9.85Gg/year with 15 MW/day 33.4 2035. represented 6.14% 212.74% allocated power supply national grid within period. This study investigates the effect of electrocoagulation contact time on pH and TSS wastewater discharged from treatment plant (WWTP) Psychiatric Hospital West Java Province. The experiment followed pretest-posttest control group design. involved testing 56 samples six times before after treatment. Each was repeated four times, there one for each repetition. tool used in this consisted 1-mm electrode plates that were 8 cm apart, a current strength 5A, voltage 12V, 50-Watt solar panel. data analyzed using descriptive inferential statistics. results showed all treatments had significant increasing TSS. Additionally, found to be effective, stable, portable, environmentally friendly, with self-cleaning system reduced operational costs saved electricity through use panels. contributes development an effective toll determination optimal tool, providing practical solution overcome problems wastewater. The recycling of locally collected concrete waste is being promoted toward reducing the carbon footprint. In preparation concrete, recycled aggregates (RCA) are encouraged instead natural (NA), as they can help reduce consumption virgin materials, extraction and transportation which be costly environmentally damaging. this context, we conducted an experimental study on various mixes to evaluate effect using RCA NA physical mechanical properties fresh hardened concrete. main novelty our lies in meeting one principles circular economy, i.e., footprint, by locally. We prepared investigated test specimens containing 0%, 20%, 40%, 60% fine coarse aggregates. Results for were determined temperature, consistency, air content, density, while other side, results compressive strength, tensile splitting density. All experimentally then compared. Abstract The current study investigates the role of recycled steel fiber (RSF) and crumb rubber (CR) in fracture behavior rubberized reinforced concrete (RRC) slab-on-grade terms load–deflection responses, crack patterns, failure loads, deflection values, toughness. RRC measuring 1000 m × mm with a thickness 60 were tested experimentally, soil was simulated model. main parameters incorporation CR as fine aggregate (i.e., 0%, 10%, 20%) presence RSF (0 0.5% by vol). findings showed that significant increase initial load slabs compared to reference slab, well incorporated high volumes CR, favorable post-cracking capacity toughness slab. 05% can enhance cracking 12.79% (10%) 20.97% (20%) at center reached 43.0 kN, while loads for containing 10% 20% kN 38.70 respectively, without addition RSF. It noticed slab increased 12.28% 20.13%, Finally, incorporating achieved maximum 52.03 which attained because additional microcracks forming closer loaded region, enhanced ductility slab-on-grade. Hence, be used produce sustainable ductility, leading reduced overall cost saving natural resources.
