Context-Aware Emotion Recognition (CAER) is a crucial and challenging task that aims to perceive the emotional states of target person with contextual information. Recent approaches invariably focus on designing sophisticated architectures or mechanisms extract seemingly meaningful representations from subjects contexts. However, long-overlooked issue context bias in existing datasets leads significantly unbalanced distribution among different scenarios. Concretely, harmful confounder misleads models learn spurious correlations based conventional likelihood estimation, limiting models' performance. To tackle issue, this paper provides causality-based perspective disentangle impact such bias, formulate causalities variables CAER via tailored causal graph. Then, we propose Contextual Causal Intervention Module (CCIM) backdoor adjustment de-confound exploit true effect for model training. CCIM plug-in model-agnostic, which improves diverse state-of-the-art by considerable margins. Extensive experiments three benchmark demonstrate effectiveness our significance insight.

Abstract As a popular artificial composite material emerging in recent years, metasurfaces are one of the most likely devices to break through volume limitation conventional optical components due their compact structure, flexible materials, and high modulation resolution beam. With unique arrangement units or made special metasurface can effectively modulate incident light's amplitude, phase, polarization, frequency, thus realizing applications such as communication, imaging, sensing, beam steering. The interaction high‐resolution periodic arrangement, constituent materials makes it possible realize these applications, so researchers should choose appropriate micro‐nano processing technologies when designing preparing metasurface. This review will present related preparation metasurfaces, electron lithography (EBL), femtosecond laser processing, focused ion (FIB), additive manufacturing, nanoimprinting, self‐assembly, respectively. In addition, classical techniques wet lithography, plasma deep reactive etching (DRIE), photolithography be introduced. Their development history functions described detail, examples micro‐nano‐structures different branches presented, well some using techniques. this paper has produced several tables describing technologies, outlining resolution, advantages disadvantages, on. Hopefully, provide with options ideas for metasurfaces.

We introduce an information-hiding camera integrated with electronic decoder that is jointly optimized through deep learning. This system uses a diffractive optical processor, which transforms and hides input images into ordinary-looking patterns deceive/mislead observers. transformation valid for infinitely many combinations of secret messages, transformed output passive light-matter interactions within the processor. By processing these patterns, network accurately reconstructs original information hidden deceptive output. demonstrated our approach by designing cameras operating under various lighting conditions noise levels, showing their robustness. further extended this framework to multispectral operation, allowing concealment decoding multiple at different wavelengths, performed simultaneously. The feasibility was also validated experimentally using terahertz radiation. encoder–electronic decoder-based codesign provides high speed energy efficient camera, offering powerful solution visual security.

Abstract With the rapid improvement of equipment integration technology, multi-spectrum detectors are integrated into compact volumes and widely used for object detection. Confront with this challenge, it is essential to propose a strategy design single-layer metasurface responses in microwave infrared ranges. In work, we proposed method designing meta-atoms, which capable achieving functional electromagnetic response at individually. As demonstration, four different occupation ratios coding permutation features designed, fabricated, tested. band, pixel meta-atom designed realize highly efficient cross-polarization conversion between 5.0 10.0 GHz, shows can behave as ultra-low Radar Cross Section (RCS) reflectors working band; ratio meta-atoms emissivity from 0.60 0.80 3–14 μm, be exhibit digital camouflage pattern. This work promotes ability use achieve RCS reduction simultaneously. The one-layer simple geometry, simplified process, low cost economy, large scale fabrication, promote practical compatible stealth camouflage.

Reprogrammable metasurfaces, which establish a fascinating bridge between physical and information domains, can dynamically control electromagnetic (EM) waves in real time thus have attracted great attentions from researchers around the world. To EM with an arbitrary polarization state, it is desirable that complete set of basis states be controlled independently since incident state decomposed as linear sum these states. In this work, we present concept complete-basis-reprogrammable coding metasurface (CBR-CM) reflective manners, achieve dynamic controls over reflection phases while maintaining same amplitude for left-handed circularly polarized (LCP) right-handed (RCP) waves. Since LCP RCP together constitute planar waves, dynamically-controlled holograms generated under arbitrarily wave incidence. The reconfigurable meta-particle implemented to demonstrate CBR-CM's robust capability controlling longitudinal transverse positions independently. It's expected proposed CBR-CM opens up ways realizing more sophisticated advanced devices multiple independent channels, may provide technical assistance digital environment reproduction.
