In
this
study,
a
coded
metasurface
design
employing
the
Pancharatnam-Berry
(PB)
phase
principle
was
proposed,
with
precise
beam
steering
achieved
via
gradient
variations.
The
designed
metasurfaces
have
characteristics
of
flexibility
and
transparency.
unit
uses
modified
C
structure
to
form
dual-resonant
points
wide
frequency
band,
PB
satisfy
relationship
between
rotation
angle
element
double
difference
reflected
phase,
by
encoding
arrays,
functions
such
as
reducing
linearly
polarized
radar
cross
sections
(RCS)

beams
can
be
achieved.

effectively
reduces
linear
polarization
RCS
in
13-20
GHz
band
rotating
metasurfaces.
Under
plane
wave
excitation,
achieves
high
conversion
ratio
(PCR)
approximately
0.9
within
14-25
band.
Experimental
results
show
that
±
50°
wide-angle
along
both
X-
Y-axes
while
maintaining
82%
visible-light
transmittance,
providing
potential
applications
flexible
electronics
reconfigurable
intelligent
surfaces
(RIS).

Miniaturized
spectrometers
utilizing
a
single
reconfigurable
photodetector
(PD)
are
highly
attractive
in
the
infrared
(IR)
range
due
to
their
advantages
terms
of
cost,
ease
integration,
and
reduced
system
complexity.
However,
such
devices
usually
suffer
from
either
limited
wavelength
tuning
or
high
spectral
correlation
sampling.
Here,
new
concept
based
on
tunable
guided
mode
resonances
surface
plasmon
simple
liquid
crystal/Au
stack
is
proposed
break
limit
simultaneously
enable
low
correlation.
A
chip-scale
IR
spectrometer
using
single-pixel
PbS
PD
realized
with
remarkably
large
over
850
nm
(1150-2000
nm)
fidelity
(mean
square
error
≈0.001)
spectrum
measurement.
Such
novel
technique
applied
plastic
sorting
demonstrated
remarkable
improvement
accuracy
benefiting
its
broadband
property
distinct
responses
at
various
sampling
biases.
Furthermore,
post-tuned
operating
for
efficient
accurate
spectroscopy
by
customizing
wavelength/bias
scanning
strategies,
demonstrating
flexibility
this
technology.
Full-vector
analysis
considering
interface
anchoring
effect
anisotropic
gradient
refractive
index
distribution
crystal
conducted
reveal
fundamental
principles
light
modulation.
