This study explores parents' knowledge of digital technology among the immigrant generation, who often face difficulties in utilizing technology, parenting practices for preschool children, and associated challenges. It employs qualitative research through a case method, conducting interviews with parents born before 1981, having children aged 0-6 years, falling within lower-middle-class income bracket. was conducted from May to June 2023 Bandung. From five informants, it evident that they possessed various devices, including smartphones, televisions, computers, laptops internet connections. Despite not growing up these utilize smartphones enhance their children's motor language development, educational videos or entertainment, such as games. Nonetheless, challenges risks, becoming overly reliant on reducing direct social interaction. In current age, play crucial role ensuring appropriate safe usage preschool-aged whose cognitive functional abilities are still developing. Consequently, findings emphasize need exercise careful supervision content accessed by potentially implementing special rules restrictions screen time.
