This research aims to design and determine the validity reliability of critical thinking skills instruments related heat concepts using Rasch model. uses 4D development methods. The subjects or validation trials were 193 Depok City High School students majoring in Mathematics Natural Sciences who had studied content was carried out with six expert lecturers. Content data analysis used Aiken V Microsoft Excel calculations a limit value < 0.78 construct results show that instrument is valid suitable for use several revisions input, while level 43.21% all items fulfilled category, Pearson item values 0.62 sufficient category 0.92 very special category. statistical trial showed significant became benchmark further application students' learning.
