This
review
critically
examines
a
broad
spectrum
of
interventions
aimed
at
bolstering
executive
functions
(EFs)
in
children,
cornerstone
for
their
academic,
social,
and
cognitive
development.
We
delve
into
variety
EF
enhancement
strategies
from
June
2006
to
March
2024,
encompassing
computer-based
programs,
physical
exercises,
classroom
adjustments,
innovative
technologies
like
virtual
reality
educational
robotics.
Stressing
the
importance
parental
involvement
positive
teacher-student
interactions,
proposes
an
evidence-based
approach
tailored
individual
needs,
offering
significant
benefits
particularly
children
with
or
risk
conditions
such
as
ADHD
ASD.
The
synthesis
underscores
imperative
collaborative
initiatives
among
educators,
policymakers,
families
fostering
inclusive
practices
that
nurture
holistic
sets
forth
need
future
research
embark
on
longitudinal
studies

a
pioneering

educational
interventions;
however,
these
are
proving
to
be
damaging
and
limited
effectiveness.
More
recently,
using
holistic
such
as
Self
Determination
Theory
has
investigated,
yet
the
disparities
in
symptom
profiles
between
sexes
needs
accounted
for
research
optimise
effectiveness
new
interventions.
This
study
investigates
interaction
ADHD
symptoms
sex
on
likelihood
that
an
individual’s
autonomy,
competence,
relatedness
met.
A
total
68
university
students
(34
women
34
men)
aged
19–27
years
completed
survey
which
consisted
questionnaire
obtaining
status,
two
scales
measuring
basic
psychological
(autonomy,
relatedness).
Results
were
analysed
ANOVA
reported
negative
main
effect
being

SDT
met,
however
there
was
not
interactive
relationship
found
variables,
indicating
this
is
additive
rather
than
interactive.
Results,
although
preliminary,
reflect
importance
analysing
separately
future
regarding
interventions
aiming
improve
outcomes

ADHD.
